Description:
The District of North Vancouver (the “District”) is seeking responses from vendors (“Proponents”) who offer an off-the-shelf Budget and Planning System software solution to support and manage the District’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
The District sees this as an opportunity to bring its leading practices in financial planning to life and to focus the finance team on developing financial strategies and providing decision support services. The software will support the District’s long-term vision for the community through our rolling financial plan and by developing scenarios for the future which can be used to engage the community and seek direction from Council. The right software will help build trust and open communication, support collective decision making, enable us to share clear rules and treat everyone involved in the process fairly.
We envision an integrated budget and planning system that collects inputs from our other processes, including strategic planning, asset management and project planning. Our integrated system will support a transparent budget process that can be adjusted for changing priorities and market conditions.
Vendors having an off the shelf software system that will meet the District's needs and objectives are invited to submit a Proposal.
