- The Township of Centre Wellington is looking for a contractor to complete Bridge Street Water Tower Upgrades. Scope of work includes but it not limited to the following:• Surface preparation and recoat of corroded areas within the dry side of the access tube.
• Cleaning and disinfection of tank interior.
• Repairing corroded areas within the tank.
• Surface preparation and application of epoxy/ polyurethane overcoat system with flourouethane coating for a finish coat as per contract technical specifications.
• Installation of kickplate on roof guardrail to meet building code requirements.
• Provisional work include;
- Surface preparation and painting of the valves and pump in the valve chamber room.- Rehabilitation of stainless-steel piping in the valve chamber.- Upgrading the aircraft warning light to LED unit and controller.- Removal of unused antenna and cables from the access tube and roof.- Sealing of gap between the overflow spillway and the tower pedestal using U-Fill.
• Restoration of any other areas disturbed by construction activities.
• All required environmental protection measures to the satisfaction of the Engineer. - Documents:
