- The services required are those necessary to conduct a comprehensive documented inventory, including a detailed on-site visual structural inspection, of all bridges and/or culverts with a span length less than 3.0m.
A detailed visual inspection is an element-by-element ‘close-up- visual assessment of all material defects and performance deficiencies including colour photographs of all defects and deficiencies. The detailed assessment must also identify recommended maintenance, repair(s) and rehabilitation needs of each municipal structure and a cost estimate to repair or rehabilitate.
All retaining walls and guide rails connected to a bridge or culvert will be visually inspected, inventoried and assessed along with the associated bridge or culvert. - Documents :
