- Description : Generally, without limiting the scope of the project, the work covered by this Prequalification includes the following: • Yard piping work to tie-in a new Plant connection to the distribution system. • Construction of new buried electrical service to the Plant from utility demarcation point at Hughson Street and Hughson Lane. • Removal and replacement of all process valves, pumps and piping apart from buried or concrete encased piping. • Removal and replacement of all electrical control and distribution systems apart from the existing Plant PLC panel. • Removal and replacement of all process instrumentation. • Removal and replacement of Plant security system.Construction of new interior partition walls to create three (3) rooms, one for sodium hypochlorite dosing, one for the electrical distribution and control and networking equipment and one for the process equipment. • Modifications to existing masonry exterior walls to accommodate new doors and removal and infilling of existing overhead doors. • Upgrades to the Plant heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.• Removal and replacement of all service water plumbing. • Groundwater well rehabilitation. • Accommodation and access for the Consultant to enter and complete a condition assessment of existing below grade reservoirs and backwash storage tank. o Repairs of related assets as identified during this assessment.
