Description : The City of Iqaluit is managing its municipal water supply stations and booster stationswhich supply its residents and surrounding area with treated water for residential,domestic and municipal needs. As part of this initiative the City is seeking to retain aConsultant to provide a technical study and professional design services for the waterdistribution booster stations. This request for proposal concentrates on Booster Stations1 & 2, with an objective to assess the existing facilities, while presenting various upgradealternatives that will ensure the facilities will meet current and future demandrequirements, and relevant upgrades as part of the City-s asset management strategy forthe facilities. The chosen consultant will be required to inspect the current boosterstation-s, assess process and capacity needs, and engage relevant stakeholders as partof the assignment in order to ensure the objectives of the assignment are achieved.Further general information is provided in section 1.3 and detailed requirements in section6.0 of this RFP.
