POMERLEAU INC, acting as Construction Manager (CM) on behalf of the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), is pleased to invite proponents to respond to this Request for Qualification for the purposes of qualifying tenderers for construction services in Ottawa, Ontario. It is the CM-s objective to identify Trade Partners specialized in their field of expertise, that will be permitted to provide bid pricing for the execution and delivery of specialized construction works for the Block 2 project in Ottawa, ON.Block 2 is the city block directly facing Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa. It is bounded by Metcalfe, Wellington, O-Connor and Sparks streets. The project will transform the block into an innovative complex that will meet the needs of Parliament and the public. The redesigned block will provide office space for the Senate and the House of Commons and space for the Library of Parliament. Early Works will be undertaken between 2024 and 2026. Principal construction packages (DPs) are expected to take place from 2026 to 2032.The scope of services for the Request for Qualification package is for the Design, Supply and Execution of the Mass Demolition works related to five building in the East portion of the Block (Fisher, Bate, Birks, Canada Four Corners and Marshall) and one building in the West portion of the Block (Union).
