Description:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for road, sewer and watermain construction on Balfour Street from Mt. Pleasant Street to Gilkison Street, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
Estimated Quantities:
521m - 300mm to 1050mm Dia. Storm Sewer
515m - 250mm to 600mm Dia. Sanitary Sewer
546m - 150mm Dia. Watermain
19m - 400mm Dia. Watermain
495m - Road Reconstruction
Anticipated construction start date is Thursday, August 7, 2025. Underground works completed and commissioned with surface restorations including granular subbase, granular base, driveway granular base, concrete curbs, and base course asphalt completed by November 28, 2025. The remaining surface works, including sidewalk placement, driveway top lift asphalt, and landscaping shall be completed by June 4, 2026.
Other Mandatory Submission Requirements:Workplace Injury Summary Report (WISR) from within the last 90 days; and Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate (ISO 45001 or COR® Certification)
