Summary Details:
Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development has a legislated mandate and responsibilities under the Emergency Program Act to establish and operate an Air Operations Branch on behalf of the Province and in support of Emergency Management BC in the event of a catastrophic event.
The Ministry is requesting information from interested parties for the supply of aviation support services, resources and support infrastructure to assist the BC wildfire Service in delivering on this legislated responsibility. This RFI is seeking information on different tools, services and technologies that would supplement the general aviation services already known to the Ministry to support wildfire response and other government aviation operations.
