3. QUESTIONS
Question One:
Request for Proposal P21-21 Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) - Hardware Requirements - Item 2 - Item 7 and Item 8 - Page Eleven:
Please clarify the information needed to gather from Cat Heavy Equipment and John Deer Heavy Equipment. The optional solution may not connect to the equipment's on-board computer, but still would collect speed, accelerometer events, and other telematics details. The primary difference would be that it would not provide engine codes and faults for the equipment?
Answer One:
The submission will not be disqualified but will be scored on submission, if supplier feels there I another solution to consider for some vehicles that don't require a lot of attachments or provide items like engine codes, etc. Please list as an option and price the solutions clearly.
