Tender are invited for Automated Reader of Disk Diffusion Susceptibility Testing

Tender Details Scope:
Supply, delivery and training of one (1) Automated reader for disk diffusion susceptibility testing for microorganisms including bacteria, yeast, fastidious bacterial species, using different culture media types including clear, opaque or blood agar (with alpha, beta and gamma hemolysis).

Bidders may bid on BIOMIC V3 Disc Diffusion or equivalent or better.

Specifications:
Purchase must include top reader cabinet, Disk Diffusion software module, Hardware accessories (bar code reader, plate inserts, power supply), greater than 20 inch screen computer monitor and one year service contract with live technical support seven (7) days per week which must be renewable.

Must have full colour resolution camera with image precision of 0.05mm for colony size detection and zone diameter reading and 0.08mm for colony size discrimination.
