Description : The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan is soliciting offers from certified professional accountant firms to become its auditor for fiscal year 2022. CAMVAP is a federally incorporated not for profit organization that provides arbitration services to vehicle owners and lessees and the manufacturers of their vehicles about disputes on the assembly of the owner or lessees vehicle or about implementation of the new vehicle warranty. CAMVAP's budget is about $1.4M per year. The books and records are fully automated, available on line in digital format and hard copy where needed and are located at the home office of CAMVAP Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant in the north Toronto area. The CAMVAP head office has a staff of three full time employees and the services are delivered by 6 independent administrators across the country and about 60 independent arbitrators. Payroll is handled by an independent payroll service. Information about the program-s operations and copies of the previous year-s annual reports can be found at www.camvap.ca. CAMVAP prefers a firm where one or more of the principals will do the field work and prepare the audit and that those persons will be the auditors for successive years.
