Description:
The Elk Point/St. Paul Regional Water Commission (the “Commission”) seeks innovative proposals from interested parties for the Auditing Services for a four-year term. The Commission is soliciting the services of qualified firms of Chartered Professional Accountant with experience and interest to audit all funds of the Commission. These comprehensive annual audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards recommended by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. The successful firm would also act as a consultant, providing expertise when required throughout the years. Key Element of Work to be Performed 2.3.1 Interim audit and testing - Auditors will examine the Commission-s internal accounting controls and accounting procedures and provide a Management letter and recommendations on internal controls. 2.3.2 Prepare year end adjusting entries 2.3.3 Prepare, produce and complete financial statements at conclusion of audit. 2.3.4 File final financial reports with proper authorities by required dates. 2.3.5 Provide consulting advice with regards to Tangible Capital Assets. 2.3.6 The auditors may be consulted occasionally throughout the year as an information resource.
