- Description:
- The overall intent of this Project is to select a qualified auditor to carry out examinations of the records and financial statements of the Municipality of Clarington (Municipality). Proposals are invited from Chartered Professional Accountants who are licensed under the Public Accounting Act, 2004 with significant experience in providing audit services to Ontario municipalities and are qualified within the conditions outlined in Section 296 of the Municipal Act. The work is to be completed in accordance to the scope of work identified herein.
The intent of the Municipality is to enter into a five year agreement with a service provider that can demonstrate through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, their municipal expertise, accounting credentials and their solid reputation as an industry leader in the area of municipal audits. Proponents may provide information about concepts, features and best management practices that may be incorporated in the Project.
