Description:
Detailed_Description : The objective of the RFB is to acquire an independent auditor to provide attestations for each of the financial statements required under the Canada-Ontario Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA) and the Canada-Ontario Workforce Development Agreement (WDA).
Scope of Work : The services and deliverables to be provided by the successful supplier will include an audit report, in accordance with Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), for each of the statement of operations required under:1.Canada-Ontario Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA) for fiscal years 2024-25 (submitted by June 15, 2025) and 2025-26 (submitted by June 15, 2026), and2.Workforce Development Agreement (WDA) for fiscal years 2024-25 (submitted by September 15, 2025) and 2025-26 (submitted by September 14, 2026).The successful supplier will be required to provide their professional audit opinion on the statements of operation to the management of the former Workforce Policy & Innovation Division (WPID) and the Employment & Training Division (ETD) of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD). (Note: As of January 2025, the former Workforce Policy and Innovation Division has been integrated into the Employment and Training Division). The supplier will provide assurance as to whether the financial statement for the LMDA and WDA for the fiscal year in question are prepared in all material respects, in accordance with the financial reporting provisions in the Canada-Ontario Labour Market Development Agreement and the Canada-Ontario Workforce Development Agreement and are accurately presented and free from material misstatements.For each of the audits, information will be provided in early-to-mid May following the end of each fiscal year.
