Description:
PAVING CONTRACTOR SERVICES (EXCEPT MUD JACKING) The Town of Oromocto is currently accepting bids for their annual Asphalt Resurfacing & Concrete Curbing Project. Sealed bids will be accepted until Thursday, 08 May 2025 at 3:00 pm. Alternatively, Bids may be submitted to the Engineer Manager via e-mailat dgoodfellow@oromocto.ca. Bids delivered via e-mail must include the Tender number and title of the Work in the subject line of the e-mail. The body of the e-mail must also include the full legal name of the Bidder, the return address of the Bidder, and the Tender Closing date and time. The proposedWork includes asphalt cold milling, supply and placement of granular material, find grading, structure adjustments, supply and placement of asphalt concrete, and supply and placement of shoulder material as specified. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or certified cheque in lieu thereof inthe amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including H.S.T.). Subject to the Contract Documents, the successful Bidder shall be required to provide Performance Guarantees as specified in the Tender Documents and in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act S.N.B. 2020, c. 29.
