Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Tenders (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for asphalt removal, warm mix asphalt paving and intersection improvements on Bayview Avenue, and storm sewer connection work at 9218 Yonge Street, in the City of Richmond Hillill.For complete bid details please refer to the RFT documents.MANADATORY REQUIREMENT(S):CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any proposals received from proponents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR™) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 10% of the bid price in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.
