- The Municipality of the District of Yarmouth (MODY) is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide detailed design, cost estimation, tender preparation, and construction support services for the upgrading of three municipal gravel roads to paved surfaces meeting the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works “Blue Book” standard. The project also includes the design of active transportation infrastructure (sidewalks). The three municipal gravel roads—Lake Estate Court (Hebron, 205.7 m), Park Drive (Brooklyn, 894.9 m), and Seeland Avenue (Brooklyn, 203.4 m)—were originally constructed in 2009 and 2011 to “Blue Book” standards and are located within established residential areas of the Municipality. Each roadway currently has a compacted gravel surface with drainage, water, and wastewater infrastructure in place.
