BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This procurement is to provide partial and full depth removal and paving of existing asphalt shoulders, as well as granular sealing on granular shoulders in the four Regional Roads Operations Districts for the contract term of May 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023.MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $75,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid.
