- The scope of the contract work for the Ashby Dr. Stormwater Management (SWM) Pond Outlet Retrofit project will generally consist of the following:
Install sediment and erosion controls.
Install temporary access paths as required.
Drawdown the water level in the vicinity of the outlet structure for a dry working area and establish bypass for inflows.
Remove the hickenbottom outlet structure and pipe
Dispose of sediment at an approved off-site location.
Install a reverse grade outlet pipe, complete with headwalls and beavercones.
Remove the displaced bricks from the overflow spillway and place 300 mm depth of rip rap.
Re-grade the erosion surrounding the overflow spillway.
Topsoil, hydroseed and restore to original or better condition.
