Description : The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (“NTPC”) is requesting Proposals from qualified bidders (“Proponents”) to provide ‘As and When- vegetation services for the mechanical control and removal of vegetation in and around NTPC properties and rights-of-way (ROWs). The required equipment and manual services may include, but are not limited to the following: a mulcher, hydro axe, feller buncher, bucket truck/or man lift, dump truck/or dump trailer, chainsaw/brush saw operators, and laborer-s. Work is to be conducted in the various NT communities throughout the territory. Bids for equipment shall include operators of said equipment and all submissions shall be based on a day rate. Vegetation mitigation is a necessary and ongoing component of providing a safe and reliable power service. This RFP is designed to involve local contractors and community members in the vegetation maintenance of NTPC properties, substations, and right of ways.
