This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 30005571 dated May 24th, 2024 with a cancelled date of June 10th , 2024 at 2:00 pm. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
TITLE
Area 3 Nisga-a Treaty Area - Biotoxin Monitoring Program
OBJECTIVE
To ensure safe and legal access to intertidal bivalves for Food, Social and Ceremonial purposes for members of the Nisga-a Nation by conducting biotoxin monitoring in the bivalve harvest areas outlined in the Nisga-a Final Agreement. To submit biotoxin samples including target samples on a scheduled frequency that will lead to legal openings for intertidal bivalve harvest and will provide harvesters with on-going information on changing marine biotoxin levels. The Contractor is expected to use methods that are effective and efficient.
CONTRACTING PERIOD
Each year, biotoxin monitoring station set up will be completed in August and sample collection and submission will commence in September for an early October Nisga-a Food, Social and Ceremonial (FSC) harvest opening, pending acceptable biotoxin results. Monitoring will continue on a scheduled frequency until mid March, which marks the end of the traditional harvest period.
Initial Contract: Contract award to March 31, 2025
Option Year #1: April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026
