Description:
The City invites bids from qualified architectural firms to provide complete consulting services for the design and implementation of the life cycle renewal of Ontario Court Justice facility at 950 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga ON.
Through the process described in this RFP, the City will select a qualified architectural firm to act as the prime consultant, having total responsibility for all necessary sub-consulting services, including but not being limited to electrical, mechanical and structural disciplines, building envelope, building code, and cost estimating. Provide full consulting services to plan, coordinate, design, produce contract documents, implement and administer the construction contract for the project. The design shall follow the goals of the City-s initiatives of decarbonization and energy efficiency. Refer to Appendix L - CoM-s Climate Change Action Plan and Appendix M - COM-s 5-Year Energy Conservation Plan.
Bidders shall refer to Schedule B - Architect-s Services (in Appendix C) for details.
The anticipated construction cost is approximately $10,000,000 (excl. net HST). The construction cost includes the cash allowance and contingency, but excludes all soft costs such as permit fees, consulting fees, FF&E, HST etc. The construction will be implemented using the CCDC 5B - 2010 Construction Management Contract - for Services and Construction and includes the City-s Amendments.
