Description:
The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) invites firms to submit a Proposal for the following: Complete an architectural and engineering review of the exterior plaza area surrounding the WCB's head office building, located at 333 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, and then prepare tender documentsand provide contract management services as the owner's consultant for the construction project.Description of ServicesThe Contractor will work closely with the WCB's Executive Management Committee and Facilities management to deliver a comprehensive plaza space planning option(s), recognizing thataspects of the building and its contents are classified as heritage resources pursuant to The Heritage Resources Act (Manitoba).The Contractor will conduct a comprehensive architectural and engineering review of the exterior plaza area surrounding the WCB's head office building, located at 333 Broadway,Winnipeg, Manitoba and then make recommendations to the WCB with regard to repairs and improvements. This will include, but not be limited to, the following investigations:(a) Review of plaza surfaces, furniture, stairs, electrical outlets for wear and damages;(b) Review of concrete plaza panels forcondition & height differences;(c) Resetting parking lot granite box edges of plaza;(d) Evaluation of electrical outlets/wiring & repairs required on plaza face; and(e) Sitting bench repairs.Subject to approval by the WCB to proceed with the recommended scope of work, the Contractor shallpr...
