- SUMMARY:
Through this Request for Proposals, the Corporation of the District of Peachland invites Proposals from suitably-qualified organizations for the provision of arboriculture services (including; inspections, assessments, structural tree pruning, tree removal, spur less climbing, branch chipping, integrated pest management, arborist consulting, tree support, log salvage, and tree planting) for various District-owned or managed parks, transportation corridors, residential streets, and other natural areas throughout the District of Peachland.
As a result of this RFP, the District will select one preferred Contractor that will enter into a Standing Offer Agreement for provision of the District-s arboriculture services for an initial term of 3 years, commencing on March 1st 2025 and expiring February 28th 2028. The Term of the Standing Offer Agreement may be extended by two further years, from March 1st, 2028 to February 28th 2030 at the District-s sole option and subject to mutual agreement between the parties on extension pricing and terms. While the District fully intends to utilize the Contractor to perform most arboriculture services required by the District, the District does not guarantee any minimum quantity of services or that the Contractor will be the exclusive provider of arboriculture services during the Standing Offer Agreement term.
