- Design-Build RFP - Drumheller Aquaplex Hot Tub
The town of Drumheller has initiated this design-build RFP as a result of a failure of the existing hot tub located within the Drumheller Aquaplex building. The hot tub began to leak in 2023 with progression increasing until it's closing in early 2024. An inspection of the tub and associated piping highlighted several areas of concern but was unable to pin point the exact cause or location of the leaking.
The Town is requesting a design-building project to complete the following:
- Verify and locate all areas of failure causing the leaking
- A detailed design outlining the method and materials employed to repair/replace failed components
- Associated construction activities to complete the repairs/replacement in order to return the tub to proper operational status. - Documents:
