- Civida requires qualified appliance suppliers who can provide residential appliances on an ongoing basis including delivery, “white glove” installation, and appliance detailing services for Civida-s residential property portfolio as further described in this RFP. “White Glove” service includes unpacking, in-home placement, assembly/setup, connection/testing, removal of packaging and old units, and debris disposal.
Typical appliances purchased by Civida are set out in the Pricing Form, attached as a separate document to this RFP. Proponents may propose different appliance makes and models as those listed in the Pricing Form provided that the proposed makes and models specified are the exact dimensions and equivalent in features, function, and value. It is the proponent-s sole responsibility to ensure that the appliances fit within the existing space.
Proposed appliances must be readily available and have local parts available for appliance repair vendors. Proposed appliances are to include the full manufacturer warranty including parts and labour. Manufacturer warranty shall not commence until installation and Civida-s acceptance of the appliance installation.
