Advance Procurement Notice25kV High Voltage Lines Replacement 4 Wing Cold Lake, ALBERTA.(with Security Requirements)Purpose of this Advance Procurement NoticeThis is not a bid solicitation nor a request for proposals.This is an advance notice for a potential contract with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to begin the sponsorship process for obtaining (if required) the anticipated security clearance(s). Note that there is no guarantee that this solicitation will proceed or that any security clearance(s) will be granted under the sponsorship process in a timely fashion or otherwise.Description of the Project and ServicesThe Defence of Canada Fighter Infrastructure (DCFI) Power Grid Modernization (PGM) project is to construct a new 25KV underground (in concrete encased copper conduit except for a small section of direct buried copper conduit) high voltage power line from DND owned SUB-STN B651 on the base side of 4 Wing to both the TAC side and the Airfield of 4 Wing Cold Lake.The project is divided into two phases. Phase 1 is the installation of a 25KV line for the main high voltage electrical distribution system from the existing ATCO east substation to a new east switching station, through the existing switching station to the new west switching station & installation of concrete encased duct bank throughout.Phase 2 is the installation of a new high voltage distribution system to the QRA, Waterleap, TAC Ramp, Hangarettes, and ...
