- APN 2023 013 - ONTC's New Motor Coach Shelter
Location : Canada, Ontario
Description : Project Details Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is preparing to initiate a competitive solicitation for General Contracting Services to complete the construction of ONTC-s new Motor Coach Shelter located at 567 Wallace Road in North Bay, Ontario. The shelter will measure 53- W x 194- L x 18- H and will be built on a reinforced concrete slab-on-grade. The bus shelter will include a solar panel system which will cover the shelter-s metal roof and power all forms of electricity used in the new shelter (i.e., power receptacles, LED lighting, etc.). The PV system has been designed to return the excess power to the main building to reduce the North Bay bus garage-s electrical load. The competition will be completed using a Request for Proposals (RFP). ONTC-s fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31 each year. It is ONTC's intent to complete the project within 4 months after the contract has been awarded. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be published in June 2023. This is conditional on the RFP documents being completed. Purpose This Advance Procurement Notice (APN) is not a bid solicitation. ONTC is issuing this APN to provide details of ONTC-s intentions for the above-mentioned project.
