Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Haver Analytics.
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.

The Haver Analytics databases provide time series data that are updated as source datasets are refreshed, in an easily searchable, consistent, current and usable format. Some of the datasets in these subscriptions (e.g., Statistics Canada, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation) are available on these organizations- websites. However, they are not in an analytics-ready format. Considerable analyst time is currently spent locating, manipulating and cleaning the relevant datasets. The Haver subscription provides analytics-ready data, eliminating the need for these processes. Haver also has data not otherwise publicly available that is of use to Ministry analytics work (e.g. Canadian Real Estate Association) and is used by other government analytics group to support their analysis.
