Description:
Tender are invited for For approximately 20 years, on an annual basis (with a few exceptions), the Aboriginal Programs Division at Fisheries and Oceans Canada has undertaken, by contract, a licence and vessel valuation study to determine valuations for commercial fishing licenses, quotas and vessels, operating in the Pacific commercial fishery. In addition the most recent reports have contained information on the economic outlook for each license type and details that provide context to the valuations.The objective of the project includes the following:Gathering data that will inform license retirement and reallocation programs; Gauging and tracking the economic health of the fishing industry; Developing policies around license redistribution and First Nation participation; Estimating the impacts of policy decisions on the Pacific Fishery; and Potential treaty impacts on the commercial fishery. There is no security requirement associated with this requirement.Location of Work: Contractor's Facilities
