Description:
This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) seeks to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply wireless local area network (WLAN) services to SIGA and its- sites, within a highly regulated environment. Background and Current State SIGA currently operates a Cisco network that provides one hundred per cent coverage at two facilities and select coverage for all other facilities. The solution incorporates a blend of 2600 and 2800 Cisco access points and two wireless controllers. The Cisco equipment is being removed due to age and capability limitations. Access to the wireless network is provided twenty-four hours a day with patron access required for at least twenty hours, seven days a week. Northern Lights and Dakota Dunes Casino average approximately 1200 daily patrons while all other casino locations average approximately 600 daily patrons. In addition to servicing patrons and staff, the wireless network will also be expected to support segregated secure communication from many IoT devices. Due to time constraints, SIGA is seeking a vendor that can supply hardware in time for deployment in summer 2023.
