Summary Details:
The purpose of this RFP is to select a Contractor to provide medium term condition improvements and help ensure a safer and more enjoyable park experience for visitors to Albert Dyck Memorial Park.
Albert Dyck Park is a popular City park which includes a lake and perimeter recreational trail. In summer the park is in high demand as a public beach and swimming destination. Year round the perimeter recreational trail is intensively used for activities such as walking, running, dog-walking and other physical exercise. The park also accommodates water sports such as water skiing and certain associated events typically attract large numbers of visitors to the park as well.To ensure a safer and more enjoyable park experience for visitors, condition improvements including sand sifting, shoreline clean up, and drainage improvement/ erosion mitigation are required.
Commencement date of the work is scheduled on April 19, 2021 or earlier. All work is to be completed by May 10, 2021.
