Description:
BC Parks is seeking quotations from a qualified contractor to address pedestrian footbridges nearing the end of their service life on the Albas Falls trail within Shuswap Lake Marine Park. The successful Contractor will replace the lower falls footbridge using the superstructure from an upper falls bridge which will be deactivated (i.e. the steel girders from the upper bridge will be used to construct the lower bridge). The timeline is to have the work completed during the in-stream fish window occurring from July 22 to August 15, 2026.
