Description:
This Contract is for the widening and reconstruction of the Airport Road / Williams Parkway intersection.
The work to be done includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Supply, installation, maintenance and removal of all traffic control components (signs, barricades, fences, barriers, delineators, flagmen) and road modifications to accommodate safe detouring of vehicular and pedestrian traffic around the construction site.Supply, installation, maintenance and removal of measures necessary to protect the public, site personnel, vehicles, equipment, adjacent property and the environment from damage and/or injury that could result from the work of this Contract.Earth stripping/grading and disposal off site all excavated material not suitable for reuse.Construction of new stormwater appurtenances, storm sewer pipes, maintenance holes, ditch inlets, and catch basins. Adjustment and rebuild of watermain chambers and sanitary sewer maintenance hole.Construction of granular road base, new asphalt pavement, curbs, splash pads, sidewalks, multi-use paths, bus bays and pads, street lighting, traffic signals, signage and pavement markings, and landscaping.Cleaning of finished asphalt while finishing works are occurring.All other work necessary to complete the construction in accordance with details set out in the Contract Documents, as shown on the Contract Drawings, and as directed by the Engineer.Clean up and restoration of site following the completion of the work.The abov...
