Description:
The AER in accordance with a Provincial Court of Alberta sentencing order that was a result of an Alberta Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act infraction (the “Court Order”) at or near Didsbury, Alberta, is seeking proposals that will have demonstrable benefits to air quality.Either all or some significant portion of the project should be conducted within, or be for the benefit of, Mountain View County, or the immediately adjacent counties of Kneehill, Red Deer, Clearwater, Rocky View, Wheatland, or City of Calgary or M.D. of Bighorn No. 8.As air quality is important provincially and beyond, projects with a demonstrable, and sustainable benefit to air quality could also be acceptable under the creative sentencing order. Proposals must be for a project with a Firm Fixed Price of $78,000 inclusive of GST (where applicable). The intent is to spend all the funds held in-trust by the AER on behalf of the court, on a single, technically sound, cost-effective project to achieve the outcomes specified within the Court Order.
