Description:
This RFSQ seeks submissions to create lists of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for air assets and air carriers across bases in St. John-s (YYT), Wabush (YWK), Happy Valley Goose Bay (YYR), Deer Lake (YDF) and Gander (YQX).The lists will be used by Departments of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Province, to acquire rental of air assets and air carriers to provide the following: Active wildland fire suppression operations. Transportation of wildland fire crew, overhead staff, equipment and supplies. Surveillance and mapping - day operations, night operations and IR. Additional air operations assets applicable to wildland fire suppression. Aerial survey and reconnaissance services. Water Resources research, surveillance. Wildlife research, animal surveillance, animal slinging. Forest inventory/monitoring, forest insect and disease control. Emergency medical services. Geological research, mine/quarry monitoring/inspection. Ground search and rescue (GSAR). Air transport services to remote communities throughout the Province. Transport of passengers and goods to/from isolated communities. Air transport services for Department and Transportation and Infrastructure staff. Ferrying services between remote communities. Transportation for government departmental employees. Aerial surveys and reconnaissance services.
