Description:
EfficiencyOne will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to source a qualified service provider for the delivery of Aggregation services for a Demand Response Direct Load Control Smart Thermostat Pilot. EfficiencyOne is planning to solicit proposals for the supply of a Demand Response Management System (DRMS) solution, and assistance with the design and implementation of a Direct Load Control Smart Thermostat Pilot.
In preparation for the RFP, EfficiencyOne is issuing this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) to obtain feedback from interested companies with experience in providing the following types of services:
Delivering, developing and implementing demand response programs or pilots;Developing and implementing market-driven customer acquisition strategies;Clear understanding of a variety of models and integration operations currently available within Canada, specifically in winter peaking regions;Experience with DRMS integrations to manage enrolled smart thermostats and dispatch events;Existing relationships with smart thermostat manufacturers, in particular, line voltage thermostats for electric baseboards.
