Tender are invited for AFRCCS Implementation Group Purchasing RFP
Project Description : The Sturgeon County Emergency Services- (SCES) department needs to transition from its current analog radio communications system to the Alberta First Responders Radio Communications System (AFRRCS). AFRRCS is a two-way radio network for first responders in municipal, provincial, and First Nations agencies across the province of Alberta. AFRRCS is designed to provide first responders with a highly resilient radio network for the primary purpose of improving agency interoperability for responder safety and ultimately the safety of all Albertans.SCES requires the hardware, technical service support, and repair support, to complete this transition by January 1, 2024. The Gibbons Fire Department (GFD) and the Morinville Fire Department (MFD) are also participating in this procurement, through the Group Purchasing Agreement, as further described in Appendix C - Master Agreement for Group Purchasing.
