Description:
This Negotiated Request for Proposals (“NRFP”) invites Proposals from qualified Proponents for the provision of Aerial Resource Services to support wildfire response in Canada. More specifically, these Aerial Resource Services may include: Land based Aerial Resources; Amphibious Aerial Resources; Birddog Aircraft to support the proposed land based and/or amphibious Aerial Resources flownindividually or as an Airtanker Group; and Helicopters specifically equipped for fire suppression; (i.e. buckets and heli-tanks).The Aerial Resource Services, via the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre Inc. (“CIFFC”), will ensure Canadian wildland fire agencies have access to essential aerial firefighting resources, enhancing support to provinces and territories and Canadians in times of need.Each Aircraft must be supported by all necessary Aircraft Flight Crews and Maintenance Personnel commencing May 1, 2026. Depending on demand, the Services may be required anywhere in Canada.CIFFC may consider one or more Contracts (and/or suppliers) to meet the requirements of this NRFP.
