Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) will be delivering and participating in The 2 Billion Trees Program.
In preparation for The 2 Billion Trees Program, this advance procurement notice is not a bid solicitation. The NPCA will require qualified and experienced nurseries to purchase Native trees, plants, shrubs, and related services of various sizes at a variety of sites within the Niagara Watershed.
The NPCA intends to issue by invitation, a Request for Standard Offer of Agreement to establish a Roster of Nurseries. The purpose of this Advance Procurement Notification is to notify interested parties to provide their contact information, qualifications, experience, availability of inventory, and any other relevant information.
Through the process described in this Advance Procurement Notification, the NPCA anticipates identifying respondents to be invited to participate in the next phase of the competitive selection process, the Request for Standard Offer of Agreement (the “RFSO”).
While the NPCA is not required to provide this Advance Procurement Notice, the NPCA believes this information will enhance transparency in the NPCA-s procurement of these services, foster full and open competition, and provide potential contractors with an opportunity to prepare to submit a statement of capabilit...
