Description:
SaskTel-s FTTP MDU Program requires that fibre optic cable be placed with MDUs. In order for SaskTel to accurately maintain and provision services over fibre, SaskTel must maintain ownership of the fibre optic distribution wire inside the MDUs. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications (CRTC) stipulates that an Access Agreement between SaskTel and the MDU owners must be established, signed by both parties and then made publicly accessible. SaskTel seeks the services of a suitable Supplier that will provide all administrative and acquisition activities in order to secure the required building Access Agreements. SaskTel will work with the vendor to provide direction, guidance, issue resolution and approvals but all relative field duties will be responsible by the vendor. The objective of this engagement is to ensure SaskTel is able to obtain MDU and Mixed Use Building Access Agreements quickly and steadily as the potential to impact customer perceptions and future revenues is an identified concerns.
