Introduction:PMG Technologies is planning the following purchase of new equipment for Transport Canada. PMG Technologies is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Transport Canada Motor Vehicle Test Center (MVTC) located in Blainville, Québec.New Equipment RequiredThe system currently being requested is one that would allow the testing of GNSS jamming and spoofing attacks on vehicles. The system will be installed and integrated in a passenger road vehicle by PMG Technologies and should be able to withstand accelerations and vibrations associated with such use. The system will include all required hardware and software. The system must be capable of simultaneously simulating multiple real-time, synchronized GNSS signals on most widely-used bands and frequencies. The system must be capable of simulating different jamming and spoofing scenarios, both basic and advanced. The system must be capable of HIL (Hardware-In-The-Loop) testing. The system must allow for on-the-fly scenario reconfiguration (without interrupting ongoing test). The system must be capable of generating, recording and playing back I/Q files. The system should include the hardware and software necessary to conduct realistic GNSS jamming and spoofing attack research on vehicles during on-track or lab testing. The system will be integrated into a vehicle by PMG Technologies. Training in the complete system is to be provided for up to 5 of our people.
