Description : Title: ACM Abatement Removal at Freshwater institute Winnipeg MB Description - Statement of Work Perform Type II Asbestos abatement (glove bag) required in Level 1 South Core (below grade, which is defined as a confined space area) for segments below (See attached photos as well) - MPS straight run - approximately 3 feet on 3” line (approximate) - MPS fitting x 2 on same pipe - 2 x elbows on 1 1/2” line - (approximate) - about 1 foot on each side of elbow - LPS fitting on wall. - 1 x elbow on 1” line (approximate) - about 1 foot on each side of elbow Reinsulation is not included in this scope. Moderate Type II (glove bag) - Removal less than 1m2 Friable. Refer to attached procedure. Signs - needed Containment - not required with glove bag PPE -Full Face Respirator/Disposable coveralls Air Testing required In the work area (on person monitoring) during the entire shift and daily if work lasts over several days. Clearance Air Sampling with aggressive (forced air) sampling.
