GOC4621768-CT: The proposed improvements encompass a comprehensive upgrade of internal elements that do not conform to the latest code updates. To achieve compliance, washrooms facilities across all stories necessitate renovation and updating. Further, the ramps within the building must be upgraded to align with code requirements. This proposed option also encompasses mechanical and electrical upgrades. Additionally, the scope will comprehensively address all external elements of the building's public facilities that currently fall short of full compliance with the standards and specifications outlined in CSA(B651-23) and the National Building Code (NBC). The proposed upgrade is all-encompassing and pertains to every facet of the building. Anticipate that there will be some asbestos removal during demolition and anticipate electrical and mechanical work for installation of some accessibility equipment.GOC990596-CT: Several elements of the building need to be revised to achieve compliancy, such as handrail modifications in the exit stairwells, contrasting and tactile surfaces to be implemented at stairs and ramps, drinking fountain relocation and washroom modifications.
