Detailed_Description : Public Health Ontario (PHO) believes that the following procurement qualifies as a sole source or single source procurement. The purpose of this Advanced Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to determine if there are other suppliers capable of meeting the requirements of the procurement for the following services for PHO.Vendor - Complete Genomics LLCServices - Outlined in the ACANPurpose - MGI Extractor Instrument Service and PM ContractPHO-s laboratory performs molecular testing of various organisms using MGI platforms as a pre-analytical step in nucleic acid extraction. Service and maintenance is a mandatory requirement to ensure our systems are operational and meet regulatory standards of the proprietary equipment.PHO believes that there is only one supplier capable of providing all the required services in the Canadian Market currently available for the proprietary equipment.PHO intends to award a 2-year term contract to Complete Genomics for the products described in the ACAN attachment.This request does not constitute a call for tenders.
