Detailed_Description : Detailed DescriptionPublic Health Ontario (PHO) believes that the following procurement qualifies as a sole source or single source procurement. The purpose of this Advanced Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to determine if there are other bidders capable of meeting the requirements of the procurement for the following supplies for PHO.Vendor: EuroImmun Medical Diagnostics Canada Inc.Products: Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika IgG, Tetanus and Diphtheria serology ELISA kits and a fully automated assay system.Purpose: A Health Canada approved fully automated assay system for the detection of all of the following in human sera, including associated instrumentation and consumables for Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika IgG, Tetanus and Diphtheria.Public Health Ontario is the only laboratory in Ontario that performs the following tests:•IgM and IgG antibodies to Dengue virus•IgM and IgG antibodies to Chikungunya virus•IgG antibodies to Zika virus•IgG antibodies to Tetanus•IgG antibodies to DiphtheriaPHO believes that the above stand-alone assay system is the only fully automated assay system for this use which is approved by Health Canada.PHO intends to award a 5-year term contract to EuroImmun Medical Diagnostics Canada Inc. for the products described above.This request does not constitute a call for tenders.
