Description:
This Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada intends to award a service contract to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities. If no supplier submits, a Statement of Capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in this ACAN, the Contracting Officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.
REQUIREMENTS:
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will be contracting services from SGS North America, Inc. to:
Provide the following services in the Initial Period:
1)Perform pre-analysis quality checks on up to 6,500 DNA samples.
2)Perform HT genotyping on up to 6,500 Wheat and Durum DNA samples with TraitGenetics 7K Low Density (LD) and/or 25K Medium Density (MD
Wheat Array.
3)Perform post-processing data manipulation so that the end product is a genotypic data matrix suitable for downstream genetic analysis.
Provide the following services in Option Year 1 and 2, if required:
1)Perform pre-analysis quality checks on up to 10,000 DNA samples.
2)Perform HT genotyping on up to 10,000 Wheat and Durum DNA samples with TraitGenetics 7K Low Density (LD) and/or 25K Medium Density (MD)
Wheat Array.
3)Perform post-processing data manipulation so that the end product is a genotypic data matrix suitable fo...
