• This is a one-year contract with an option to renew clause to assess the archaeological potential of proposed timber development. BC Timber Sales - Cariboo Chilcotin, has hundreds of blocks within our Cascadia, Quesnel and Williams Lake Timber Supply Areas that require archaeology assessments. Archaeological Overview Assessments (AOAs) are currently being completed by another contractor but are subject to change by the award of the contract. All AOAs and historical information will be provided to the successful contractor to assist in conducting their work. Questions & Answers All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.CaribooChilcotinTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 3:00 pm on April 2, 2026. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by 3:00 pm on April 7, 2026. Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package. If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above.
