The facility currently has a maximum capacity of 72 detainees, which is composed of both male and female, and may include vulnerable persons and children. The CBSA currently has a contract for security guards services and transport guards services for the regular population at Surrey-s IHC under the contract #47419-216063 with GARDA CANADA SECURITY CORPORATION, however is looking for a contractor to provide enhanced security guards and enhanced transport guards services for its high risk population.
