- The Government of Canada (GoC) is initiating a pilot project to establish ‘GC Secure Co-Working- sites within Canada. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is thelead department responsible for delivering this initiative. The new sites will provide federal departments and agencies with shared offices accommodation. The project entails the design and fit-up of a GC Secure Co-Working Site in British Columbia (BC). In order to achieve accreditation to operate as a facility, enhanced security and stringent construction standards are required in the design and fit-up. The overall design must meet the GoC (Policy on Government Security) and RCMP Guidelines, as they relates to the various physical security zoning applications, as well as the end users physical security requirements.
